We enjoy the company of like minded people, who share our interest in photonics and related subjects. It is an informal way to meet other professionals and exchange experiences. We meet so we can talk about science and engineering. And, to stimulate exchange, we have a volunteer presenting each meeting.
Reno Tahoe Photonics will have a booth at the NCET Entrepreneur Expo, Friday, March 13th, 2009. It is being held at the Atlantis Resort Casino Grand Ballroom and is free to the public. For more information on the Expo visit http://www.ncetexpo.com.
OptiComp is providing their booth enclosure and we will have posters of our members companies displayed on it. In addition we would like to have some photonic related products displayed from out member companies. Since the booth is 8X8ft we need small products, the idea is to show the public examples of photonics in their lives. We are also seeking product literature to have out for the attendees. If your company had a display in the booth last year your information needs to be updated. We need to man the booth and this would be an opportunity for you to attend the Expo and promote Photonics at the same time. We need people to man the booth from 8:30AM – 7PM, including booth setup and teardown. Contact Janet Langford Gray at jlangfordgray@sbcglobal.net or 775-560-6099.
Our Thursday, February 19th meeting will be a planning meeting for the NCET Expo and socializing.
